Children's Church

At First Church we have two opportunities for children to experience worship:

At our creative worship service, The Crossing, we have a special "Kids Only" area in the back of our worship space where children can do art, build, read and be themselves during the worship service. Mid-way through The Crossing we give Pre-K through 3ed grade aged children the chance to participate in Kids Own Worship.

At our Traditional Service we provide "worship kits" for children to have something to color and to read prior to the children's sermon, which we share midway through the worship service. Children Pre-K through 3rd grade are then invited to Children's Church where we utilize a modified form of Godly Play to teach and to share.

Nursery
Our nursery is staffed with well-qualified and dedicated attendants for our Sunday worship services, special events and Wednesday night programs.  Our nursery is clean, airy and spacious enough for both toddlers and infants.  When parents leave their children in the care of our nursery staff they can do so in confidence that they will be safe and well cared for.
