Crossfire Ministries
is a ministry of First Church to at-risk children, who
live in our surrounding neighborhood and community.
Many of the children who participate in the Crossfire
program do not regularly have nutritious, hot meals at
home or have safe environments to learn and to play
when they are away from school. Our Crossfire
volunteers provide transportation for their students,
feed them, play with them, love on them and share with
them the love of Jesus Christ. The theme for
Crossfire is “Live Out Loud,” and the volunteers (made
up almost entirely of First Church members) work
tirelessly to not only live their faith “out loud,”
but to help the children under their care to learn to
do the same.
When and Where Is
Crossfire?
Crossfire is on Tuesdays from 6 - 8 PM in the
Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian Church
