At First Church we
believe that we are called as a community of faith to
care for one another, and to bear one another’s
burdens. We also believe strongly that we need to be
connected to one another in life and in faith. Our
visitation ministry is one of the many ways that we
both stay connected and care for the members and
friends of First Church. Visitation takes place in a
variety of ways:
Elder Care
We engage in frequent and consistent visitation to our
older members who are unable to come to church.
Members of our visitation team in conjunction with our
pastor visit homebound members and members who are in
assisted living facilities on a weekly basis.
Hospital
Visitation
Each week members of our visitation team care for
members and friends of First Church who are in our
local hospitals, inquiring after them and finding ways
to care for them when they return home.
If you know of someone who requires a visit from our
pastor or anyone on the visitation team, you can email
their information to our Adminstrator, Carol McMichael

We currently have an active and vibrant visitation
program to older adults who are homebound or are in
assisted living facilities. If you would like to be a
