"Samson: Unbalanced Leadership"

22nd Sunday after Pentecost | Judges 14:1-9 (NLT)

God gives Samson supernatural strength to create havoc on Israel’s enemies, thus waking up Israel from their complacent attitude under the Philistine rule; however, Samson gets consumed by that power. Samson did not understand that with great strength comes the greater responsibility to learn how, when, and why of strength.

Samson is known by "strength" and yet most people fail to acknowledge his poor moral character or consider his lack of emotional intelligence. So, pay attention to your talents and listen to your neighbors so that your strengths do not become everyone’s burden. Let us practice self-control, enhance our emotional intelligence, and be of service to others for the glory of our God.
