Sundae-Funday

It was a sundae-funday last Sunday in Splash. We celebrated our rally day and the start to our new Splash school year. We now have two groups and two new spaces to accommodate our growing group of young disciples, both in height, age AND numbers! Our 4th-8th graders, now called the surfers, will be upstairs in a spacious room. Our pre-k to 3rd graders, or scuba divers, will be in the newly decorated Splash room.
Our 26 disciples learned that Because Jesus loves us, we are loved. And because everyone loves ice cream and candy-filled piñatas, we celebrated with heaps of both. The room was filled with love, excitement, and sprinkles and each child showed that they have a strong sense that they are loved and that THEY BELONG HERE!
