On Monday, June 22, 2026 the Mission Study Task Force met with Rev. Foley to prayerfully
discern the elements needed in this plan that will ultimately define the qualities needed in our next Pastor.
Some of the steps include collecting statistical data of our community, our church membership, and finances. We will also reflect on our history, identity, current ministries, congregational health, vision and priorities for the next 5 years. The goal is to provide clear data and direction for the Pastor Nominating/Search Committee.
A congregational survey is now being created with questions covering many aspects of our
church, its mission, strengths, worship life, fellowship, our outreach in mission, leadership, and our future. This survey will help us understand more about who we are and where God is
leading us.
The survey will be available via an electronic link and a pen and paper version, all anonymous
unless you wish to share your name. Creating a survey is not an easy task, but we have relied
on the Holy Spirit to guide us to do our very best! Your opinion and inputs are our input for our next Pastor, so we also pray that many of us take the opportunity to participate in the survey. We will announce when the survey is available at our Sunday worship, the newsletter, and bulletins.
Would you pray for this task force, and for our congregation to see and hear God's Plan, getting us into agreement?
In His Service,
FPCE Mission Study Task Force
Rev. Foley, Ann Rou, Richard Paul, Gary Harvison, Kelsey Strippoli, Mike Gambino, Tim Cricks, Tracy Miller, Barbara Breuer, Jeanne Thomas
