There is a new and purposeful event happening on Sunday, December 10th — we are calling it "Dedication Sunday"! This meaningful occasion will provide you with an opportunity to prayerfully consider your time, talents, and treasure as we prepare for the year 2024.
During each of our worship services at 8 am, 9:30 am, and 11 am, during the "Generosity" element of worship, Pastor Mario will lead us in a well-rounded moment of prayer and guided meditation to consider our lives as followers and disciples of Christ.
Participating in this opportunity serves a dual purpose. Firstly, it will greatly benefit the leadership of our church by providing insight into how you plan to contribute (in three major areas of life: Time, Talent, and Treasure) to our fellowship, mission, and outreach efforts in the coming year. Your valuable input will help us better serve our community and fulfill God's calling for our congregation.
Secondly, by sharing your thoughts on your time, talents, and financial support, you will also be responding to what you believe God is calling you to do. It could be the initiation of a new project, the continuation of your support for an ongoing ministry, or perhaps even an entirely new initiative. This is your chance to align your aspirations with God's purpose for our church.
We understand that financial matters can be sensitive, so please rest assured that there will be a confidential opportunity for you to share your plans for financial support during this event.
Again, this unique exercise will be divided into three segments, and they will fit nicely within our regular worship to the glory of God. While it's a new undertaking for all of us, we believe that it will be a source of blessings for everyone involved.
If you cannot attend in person on Sunday Morning, we have made provisions for you to participate online. The online component will become available on Sunday morning to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to take part in this important dedication process.
We look forward to seeing you on December 10th for "Dedication Sunday." Let us come together as a congregation, united in faith, to discern God's will for us in the upcoming year. May this event strengthen our commitment to the ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Eustis and bring us closer to the path that God has prepared for our community.
