This Lent, we are inviting you—church family and friends—to walk with Jesus from the wilderness to the empty tomb.
Beginning Tuesday, February 24, we will gather each week to reflect together on From Wilderness to Glory: Lent and Easter for Everyone by N. T. Wright.
This 7-week devotional traces Jesus’ journey from temptation in the wilderness to the cross—and ultimately to resurrection glory. It holds together the honesty of Lent (lament, struggle, waiting) and the hope of Easter (joy, victory, purpose). Each week includes daily Scripture readings, reflections, and questions designed to meet us right where we are.
Here’s how we’ll walk through it together:
Daily: Personal reading and prayer from the book
Tuesdays (Beginning Feb 24): Group Bible Study discussion
Sundays: Preaching that echoes and deepens the weekly theme
Tuesday Bible Study Schedule
Feb 24 – Week 1
March 3 – Week 2: Jesus in Prayer
March 10 – Week 3: Jesus Among Friends
March 17 – Week 4: Jesus Among Enemies
March 24 – Week 5: Jesus in the City
March 31 – Holy Week: Jesus on the Cross
April 6 – Jesus’ Glory
Lent can feel heavy. It asks us to slow down, to examine our hearts, to face both wilderness and cross. But it also gently reminds us that wilderness is never the last word. Glory is coming.
Join us. Read daily. Pray honestly. Come on Tuesdays ready to share and listen. Then come on Sundays to be encouraged as we reflect together on what God may be forming in us this season.
Let’s walk from wilderness to glory—together.
