More on MMO -- https://www.fpceustis.com/mmo
The Mom's Morning Out (MMO) program here at FPCE has grown from a drop-in play group to a well-established and sought-after program that runs Monday through Thursday. We just started back a few weeks ago after the summer break and already have a working waiting list. Thank you to all dedication of our staff that cares for these children each day and visibly love what they do.
One of the things parents mention is the comfort they feel on our beautiful and safe campus. One area that was important for us to improve was our playground. The lack of shade, for instance, was a big concern, which I am delighted to say was quickly tackled. Because of the generous donation of a church family, we could purchase sturdy shade structures for the playground.
We are blessed to have such wonderful Volunteers who not only know Christ but show Christ in all they do.
Thank you to the family that donated the funds and the staff and volunteers; Dalton Yancy, John Jackson, Jeramie Toussaint "Part-time FPCE Maintenance," and a young man named Austin who volunteered "Army on Leave" Who helped build it and set it up. Truly I tell you that the heat of this season would have been unbearable without these shades.
We are reminded of the importance of reflecting and revealing the Love of Christ in all that we do. Today, we are reminded how we can support each other through giving... not only in treasure but in time and talents. You can walk by the playground any morning during MMO and hear the happy sounds from happy children enjoying the fresh air and not melting! ha!
