Our New Class of Ruling Elders
We give thanks to God for the gift of leadership in our church and for the faithful men and women who have answered the call to serve as Ruling Elders at First Presbyterian Church of Eustis.
In the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Ruling Elders are elected by the congregation from among its members. Their election reflects the rich diversity of the body of Christ and affirms our shared commitment to participation, inclusion, prayerful discernment, and trust in the guidance of the Holy Spirit (F-1.0403). We are grateful for a process rooted in prayer, openness, and congregational confidence.
Meet the Ruling Elders We Celebrate

Married to Dalton Yancey for fifty years, Barbie shares Christ’s love through her cooking, sewing, and faithful presence.
Cody Rath Cody and his wife Brittney are the proud parents of Lydia, Abby, and Micah. Cody has faithfully served on the Nominating Committee and the Personnel Committee, and he has shared his gifts through teaching, preaching, VBS leadership, music ensembles, and hands-on creativity. A gifted builder and musician, Cody brings steady leadership, imagination, and a servant’s heart to every ministry he touches.
Our Session for the Year Ahead
The Class of Ruling Elders for 2026 includes Ed Kirkland, Joan Scott, Jeanne Thomas, and Mike Gambino. Together with Rev. Mario Bolivar as Moderator and Alessandra Saunders as Clerk of Session, they form the Session of First Presbyterian Church of Eustis.
We praise God for each of these leaders and for the ways the Holy Spirit continues to raise up faithful servants among us. May God grant them wisdom, courage, humility, and joy as they lead, listen, pray, and serve. And may our whole congregation support them with prayer, trust, and gratitude as we walk together in Christ’s mission.
