Walking in the Light of Christ -- On Sunday, September 28th, our congregation will have a special opportunity to celebrate the joy and unity of worship through a beautiful South African hymn, “Siyahamba”. This vibrant song, sung in Zulu, means “We are walking in the light of God”, and it carries a powerful message of community, hope, and shared purpose.
We are inviting children and the entire congregation to join together in singing this uplifting hymn. Its simple, rhythmic melody and call-and-response style make it easy to learn and a delight to sing, whether you are a seasoned singer or simply enjoy joining in joyful praise.
To help everyone feel comfortable and confident, we recommend that you listen to the song ahead of time, familiarize yourself with the tune, and come ready to sing with us. This will be a wonderful way to experience firsthand the spirit that unites us under the banner of Christ, reminding us that worship is not only heard but felt together.
Mark your calendars, practice your voices, and get ready to walk in the light of Christ with your brothers and sisters on September 28th. Let’s lift our voices as one and celebrate the joy of being part of God’s family.
