We are excited to announce an enriching opportunity for our congregation to delve deeper into the lives of Jesus' twelve disciples through a special Bible study series titled "Twelve Ordinary Men." This insightful study will span six weeks, beginning on June 24 and running every Tuesday from 2:00 to 3:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall Classroom, and the class will be moderated by Barb Yancey.
Resources and Study Focus
During our sessions, we will explore the diverse backgrounds and unique journeys of each disciple, using the following resources:
The Twelve Disciples (A Rose Visual Bible Study) - This book will guide our discussions and provide a visual perspective on the lives of the disciples.
"Twelve Ordinary Men" by John MacArthur - Known for its depth of information, this book will offer additional insights into the disciples' lives and teachings.
"The Disciples" by Holly Michaels - Another resource that will complement our study, offering different perspectives and historical context.
