As we approach the holiest time of the Christian calendar, we welcome you to your Holy Week celebrations. Below, you will find a brief description of each of our experiences.
Palm Sunday on March 24th – 8 AM, 9:30 AM, 11 AM
On this special day, we commemorate Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, heralded by crowds waving palm branches and shouting, "Hosanna!" It is a joyous occasion that marks the beginning of our journey through Holy Week. There will be memorable and purposeful events for children and adults alike. There will be a brief procession and gifts from the church to the congregation to commemorate the beginning of Holy Week.
Maundy Thursday on March 28th – 7:30 PM
This is a profoundly moving Tenebrae worship experience. As we gather in the sanctuary, we will solemnly observe the betrayal, persecution, and arrest of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through the gradual dimming of lights and the extinguishing of candles, we will reflect on our Savior's sacrifice, culminating in the sharing of Holy Communion. This event will enhance your understanding and appreciation of the Last Supper and betrayal against our Lord Jesus Christ. *** This is an evening special that begins at 7:30 PM
Easter Sunday on March 31st - 8 AM, 9:30 AM, 11 AM
Holy Week culminates in the glorious celebration of Easter Sunday! Join us for special events, uplifting music, and additional festivities as we rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our regular schedule of worship will continue both in the sanctuary and fellowship hall, providing ample opportunities for you to encounter the risen Christ in the community. We will also have significant opportunities to engage with activities geared towards children, such as a special Sunday School Class and an Easter Egg Hunt in our courtyard.
