On behalf of the entire congregation and the Session, I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers, ushers, greeters, and friends who came together to make our Christmas concert a truly special and joyous occasion and blessed us with their presence. All the dedication, enthusiasm, and tireless efforts did not go unnoticed, and we are immensely grateful for your contributions. Especially those who remained while there was no seat for them! Thank you for celebrating with us.
A super special thank you is in order for our exceptional choir, band, and all our friends who lent their voices and musical talents to create such a beautiful and harmonious experience. Your commitment to spreading the joy of the season through music is greatly appreciated.
We also want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to Cindy Curtis, our remarkable Traditional Music Director. Cindy, your experience, talents, and spiritual gifts always shine brightly, but on Sunday afternoon, you outdid yourself, and we are blessed to have you leading our music ministry. We give thanks to God! Your passion and dedication were evident in every note and comment, and it truly enhanced this season of advent.
Special thanks also go to MJ, Elenaine, Linda, Shannon, and all the other volunteers in the cookie patrol who selflessly dedicated their time and effort to make this event possible. Your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed, and we are thankful for your unwavering support. We will never forget the "Sugar Cookie Galore of 2023"! It was nothing short of a miracle. Instead of multiplying bread and fish, it seemed like we had an endless supply of delicious cookies that I bet even filled twelve large gallon bags of Ziplock. Thank you to everyone who brought the cookies! They were delicious.
Now, in all seriousness, as we reflect on this wonderful Christmas concert, we are reminded that all the glory belongs to God. It is through His grace and love that we come together as a community to celebrate the birth of our Savior, our Lord. All that is left to say is... We look forward to seeing you all next year for another amazing Christmas concert, and we can't wait to continue sharing in the joy of the season.
Beginning to celebrate Advent with all of you has been a true joy, and we are grateful for the fellowship and love that we share within our church community.
