Our worship focuses on God. We rely on the Scripture’s story of God’s grace granted us through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In all of our services, we read Scripture, praise God through prayer and song, and learn from our pastor’s lesson. There is a special time set aside during each service for children.
There is currently an adult Sunday School class that meets at 9:30 in the Chapel.
There is a special time for children in each worship service. We have kid kits available for fidgety fingers during worship.
Our nursery is open for children ages 4 and under. They are not required to wear masks; however, we are doing temper checks for each child upon entry.
Now Preaching - Matthew 22
We will not have a theme sermon series during October; instead, we have chosen one chapter of the Bible to do all the leading. Now, picking a chapter over another is rather tricky so what we did was lean on the lectionary and voilà. We discovered that Matthew 22 was everywhere, and so during October, we will consider the whole thing (one chapter of forty-six verses) in the month of pumpkin spice.
We are super excited because the Holy Spirit revealed many God-incidences between the Scripture and all the special days that we are invited to recognize by our denomination during October, including World Communion Sunday and Domestic Violence Awareness Day. But that's not all, because we will also consider World Food Day, Children's Sabbath (Educate a child, transform the world), United Nations Day, and Reformation Sunday!
You must know that we will also be doing a few special activities in addition to the preaching of our faith. From now until Oct 25th, we will collect non-perishable items, toiletries, and personal protection gear (PPE) for Open Door (a local homeless drop-in center.) We also have a friendly competition between the Pastor and the Staff. We will end the month with a fall festival in the church parking for the congregation and community, so stay tuned and pay attention to our announcements!

The Crossing Band
The Crossing Praise Band is made up of people who love to play music and worship God with all of their hearts.
Some are self-taught while others are professionally trained.
Each week the musicians play a variety of songs with their unique sound to help usher in the Holy Spirit.
If you would like to join the team, come and hang out or jam with at their 11 a.m. practice immediately following the 10 a.m. Sunday Crossing service.
